OF COURSE a gay man doean't know how to work a computer, just like a woman doesn't either...right?! At lest that's what you'd be lead to believe in the first five minutes of NBC's upcoming Fall show, The New Normal.  The show centers around a gay couple David (David Burka) and Bryan (Andrew Rannells) who have decided to have a surrogate played by the adorable and quirky Georgia King, bare their child so they can start a family.

And while the show is filled with a plethora of additional stereotypes like this, it's still remains quite enjoyable. Primarily because it comes from TV juggernaut Ryan Murphy (Nip/Tuck, Glee, American Horror Story).  Let's face it, the guys guys a beast...he's running the tv airwaves right now, somehow controlling your brain at the same time while sipping on a latte!

The show is super funny but I cannot help but to imagine the couple of David and Bryan EASILY being a future version Kurt and Blaine, characters from Murphy's hit show Glee (they even resemble older versions of the couple). Obviously, this could be my years of Glee watching and singsongs that have made me so biased so I'd be curious to see how other watchers of the show felt.

The sexy front man of Maroon 5 and one of the judges on NBC breakout singing competition show 'The Voice' talks about sexuality in the upcoming issue of Out magazine.  Levine also shares about his brother who is gay and how families with a gay member need to ban together and support one another.


On growing up with a gay brother: 

Yesterday Daniel Radcliffe was honored for his work over the past few years with The Trevor Project, an organizations' whose reaches out to help LGBTQ youth. The event took place in NYC at the Capitale and included guest such as Amy Poehler, Robin Williams and of course the man of the night Daniel Radcliffe himself.

The 24-year-old Glee star hosted the event held in San Francisco over the weekend and was totally pumped to be there! The GLAAD Media awards celebrate fair representations of the LGBT community.

Rivera cracked tons of jokes including "We've been called 'the gayest show on television'...I'm sure they meant that in a good way though." Naya was well received and just like the rest of us she's excited about her character Santana's storyline and how it pans out. Check out Naya Rivera's opening monologue here...get ready for lots of laughs with 'some sweet lady kisses' thrown in as well!

I was thrilled to have the chance to chat with Real World Alum Mike C. Manning.  I've followed his work and activism for civil rights and the LGBT Community since his time on the Real World where he came out as bi-sexual (even though Mike doesn't believe in the idea of labels), and I really liked what he had to say!  So when he agreed to share some insight on his time on the MTV show and what he is currently up to, I was super excited.

Mike, who in his Twitter bio describes himself as "Actor, Civil Rights Activist, Adrenaline Junkie, Inspiration Seeker," hails from Colorado and, on the surface, seems like what one may perceive as the stereotypical jock: however, there is a lot more to him and a lot more that he has to say.  I feel that his message is one that should be heard by all.  So, without further ado, check out my interview with Mike and his PSA  for the "It Gets Better Campaign" for the Trevor Project.  The Trevor Project is a wonderful organization set up for teens in the LGBT community who are having a hard time.  They give these kids someone to talk to and let them know that "It Gets Better".
