And to think, it all started with a blazer.... who would have thought our introduction to Glee's Blaine Anderson played by the super talented Darren Criss would lead to everything that it has.

Never before have we seen a character come full circle with a song that has so much meaning.  And not just to the character but to the actor as well.  On the most recent episode of Glee The Breakup we get to see Darren perform an acoustic version of Katy Perry's and in it's own way, Darren's hit song "Teenage Dream".

Besides the interesting arrangement of the song, the tone behind each performance of Teenage Dream on the show truly makes each version unique. While the show has its ups and downs this is one of the more recent moments that really stood out to me. And also an element of the show that has carried over from a previous season in a way that wasn't forced or cheesy. I included an old interview of Darren from Rolling Stone from when he first starred in the role of Blaine he comments (well sings)  what it means to him and where he'd hope the story would go and for the most part it seems like he ha really had some input on the character as I feel a lot of the things he mentioned about the character and his relationship with Kurt have come to fruition. I just love what the show has done with this character and hope you guys do too!

Recently the actress/singer sat down with New York magazine and chatted about a number of things; including on how she often gets mistaken for Katy Perry!

“I literally met her twice six years ago. It’s a strange relationship to have with somebody. I probably answer more questions about her than about my own family.”

Also, you can catch Zooey on her new show New Girl premiering on FOX Sept. 20th after Glee! The more promos I watch for the show the more I think I'm going to like it! She is just so darn charming!  What do you guys think??

Welcome back the return of the concept video! Thank you Katy Perry for doing something super cool and rekindling my love of the eighties all at once.  Thankfully, I had  I Love the 80's to give me a crash course in one of the best decades EVER.

In her latest video Last Friday Night the Pop star recreates a scene right out of a teen eighties movie. You know, one of those classic one's we all know and love like, Sixteen Candles. Perry plays her dorky alter ego Kathy Beth Terry and ends up having one crazy night at her next door neighbors party.  Check out the video for some hilarious and quite unexpected cameos. Enjoy!

Recently, I had the chance to do a Q&A with singer/songwriter Tyler Ward! The Denver based musician talked about everything form his start in music (Tyler use to be a pretty serious football player), to who inspires him and what he does when he's not playing music. Tyler Ward a military academy football player turned musician who has opened up for acts like The Fray, The Jonas Brothers, Gavin DeGraw, Augustana and Ryan Cabrera recently did a really neat cover of Britney Spears' latest single "Till the World Ends".  A while back I shared a really cool cover that Tyler did of Katy Perry's "Teeneage Dream" which I dare say is equally as good as the Glee one! Check out this AWESOME cover from Karmin of Chris Brown's single "Look at me Now".  This chick has been said to have the looks of Katy Perry and the flow of Nicki Minaj (now that's a pretty sweet combination!).  So I saw her video on and HAD to share this with you guys!
