It seems that with each passing year we get less and less music with meaning, music that has soul, music with a message. THANK GOODNESS these guys came along! MKTO consist of Tony Oller and Malcolm Kelley. Two former Nickelodeon stars that decided to break out, grow up and put music out there to inspire and make people feel good.

In their self titled debut album they touch on issues of being bullied to showing some respect to women.  Much like their single 'Classic' that's blowing up right are these guys style. They may be younger but they have a cool old school vibe that I really dig. Not since Macklemore's  'Same Love' have I heard and really felt such passion emanating through  my speakers. I think I really like these guys so much because there here to uplift and inspire people to dream and dream BIG.  This is something that has drastically gone away in a day and age of fast pace living and even faster money. Do yourself a favor and check these guys out, you won't be sorry! Check out my favorite's 'Classic' and 'American Dream' after the jump!

The brotherly trio is back with new music I couldn't be more excited! This time however, there bringing a little bit of star power with them. Check out Kat Dennings, Nikki Reid and some of your other favorite actors in a behind the scenes look at their upcoming video for their new single 'Get the Girl Back'.  Check it out here!

And to think, it all started with a blazer.... who would have thought our introduction to Glee's Blaine Anderson played by the super talented Darren Criss would lead to everything that it has.

Never before have we seen a character come full circle with a song that has so much meaning.  And not just to the character but to the actor as well.  On the most recent episode of Glee The Breakup we get to see Darren perform an acoustic version of Katy Perry's and in it's own way, Darren's hit song "Teenage Dream".

Besides the interesting arrangement of the song, the tone behind each performance of Teenage Dream on the show truly makes each version unique. While the show has its ups and downs this is one of the more recent moments that really stood out to me. And also an element of the show that has carried over from a previous season in a way that wasn't forced or cheesy. I included an old interview of Darren from Rolling Stone from when he first starred in the role of Blaine he comments (well sings)  what it means to him and where he'd hope the story would go and for the most part it seems like he ha really had some input on the character as I feel a lot of the things he mentioned about the character and his relationship with Kurt have come to fruition. I just love what the show has done with this character and hope you guys do too!

**Check out both "Teenage Dream" performances after the jump!

A John Mayer with no smoldering glances, no snarky comments, no facade...THAT'S the John Mayer that we get in the video for his latest single, "Queen of California".  And I must say, it's a breath of fresh air!  After John hiatus from the spotlight after a slew of interviews depicted him on not-so-flattering light. I for one am really enjoying the more mature John.  The song and video are great.  I especially enjoyed the ending of the video with "Back to one" quote from the director which defintely seems to mirror John's new approach on life.  What do you guys think??

I happened to stumble across this guy a few days ago not gonna lie I can't stop listening to his single "Vegas Girl" over and and over!  Yes, silly title, and they filmed it in NYC  so it makes even LESS sense however, the beat is catchy as hell and the video is super fun which makes the music enjoying experience even better.  But with all this said is 19-year-old British Pop star Connor Maynard the new face of Pop music?  Is this where the future of Pop is heading?? Honestly, I would say a definitive YES.  If this is a good thing or not is a whole other story.

I say this because now, more than ever Pop music tends to have less of a meaning behind its lyrics.  Not to say that is always a bad thing.Today's Pop music tends resemble a Blockbuster movie experience so to speak. With the whole purpose being to make us dance have fun and that's exactly what this song accomplishes!   But just because it's fun does it mean it can lack a sense of  depth??  You be the judge.

Check out Connor Maynard's "Vegas Girl" here!  I DARE you to not dance your butt of to this!!

"Oh Usher, you're so smooth...you can even make fake playing the bass and rocking out to an R&B/Rock version of 'Pumped up Kicks' seem cool." At one of his most recent shows the singer took on Foster the People's hit single and really got the crowd 'pumped up' for his cover, but are you?? Check it out here!
