Kathryn Bigelow's Next Film Project: Drug Trafficking

It's certainly going to be hard to follow up her Oscar winning film The Hurt Locker but Kathryn Bigelow's next project sounds like she  might be headed in the right direction.  The film, entitled Tiple Frontier/ Sleepless Dogs about drug trafficking will be set on the borders of Argentina, Paraguay and Brazil.  Filming is set to begin in January.  The film is an ensemble project and unlike her last project Bigelow is fishing for some big names for this movie.  So far the likes Tom Hanks, Will Smith, Johnny Depp and Mark Wahlberg have all been mentioned.  Triple Frontier will supposedly have the same vibe as Steven Soderberg's Traffic. One thing we do know however is that Bigelow will again be teaming up with writer Mark Boal who worked with Bigelow on The Hurt Locker.   I definitely think that Bigelow has the potential to continue to give us great work I just don't know about using big names for the project.  Her casting of a bunch of basically unknowns (minus Jeremy Renner) was a good call and possible a formula she should stick with.  What do you guys think about Bigelow's new project??  Can she strike gold twice??
