Speaking of Glee: A Matthew Morrison and His Abs Post

As if Matthew Morrison wasn't popular enough from his role as Glee Club Teacher Will Shuester on Fox's hit show Glee, his photo gracing the cover of the upcoming issue of Details will certainly add to his popularity.  Morrison appears on the cover showing off his hard work on his abs (apparently he works just as hard on them as he does his singing voice).  In the article Morrison discusses his new found fame with Glee.  Here are some excerpts from the article;

"I am a teacher to them," Morrison says of the younger castmates he refers to as "the kids." "I've taken a few under my wing. I don't want to say they idolize me, but..." he trails off, realizing how this might sound. He's careful about what he says and wishes some of his colleagues were a little less publicity-driven. "Yeah, I find myself learning a lot from the set. I do look at stuff people on the show are doing, and I don't judge them, but I question it. I say to myself, keep quiet. Fame, you know, it's like a handgun—in the wrong hands, it's dangerous."
Later, Morrison goes on to give his thoughts of a Glee Billbaoard that overlooks the freeway in L.A.,

 He looks at me expectantly, and I tell him I enjoyed it and that this is his chance to tell people who he really is. "That's the whole thing," he says after a long pause. "I really don't want them to know anything." We pass a Glee billboard looming over the freeway with Morrison's giant mug grinning down at the onrushing traffic. "So weird, it's so weird," he mutters to himself. And then he smiles. Kind of like on the billboard.
Also Matt is working on a solo album that will sound Michael Bubleish that may be released at some point.  Morrison takes his celebrity status pretty seriously.  He recently recorded a video against bullying for the Trevor Project, a foundation set up for troubled LGBT teens. Check out the video and more pics from the upcoming issue of Details after the jump!
