Karmin Don't Hate to Say it But They 'Told Ya So' !

The Pop, Rap and just plain 'Swagtastic' duo of Karmin are at it again with "Told Ya So", the third single off of their debut album Hello.  The video features some pretty neat visuals and a super eerie vibe.  Amy kills it with her impressive rap skills and Nick adds some really great vocals that round out the song. The song has a great beat and really gets me pumped up! And if you haven't already definitely go grab Karmin's new album!!

Bradley Cooper and Zoe Saldana in 'Words' Trailer!

One would think with such a simple title that a a film like the upcoming Words  starring Bradley Cooper and Zoe Saldana would consist of an equally as simplistic plot. However, a seemingly unassuming story about an aspiring writer trying to create greatness on the page take some interesting turns when Cooper's character passes off someone else's work as his own.  The film really seems to show what can happen when you grown desperate to have your words read, even when they aren't your own.

My Interview with the Dynamic Duo L2!

I recently had the chance to chat with NY based pop/dance group L2 made up of sisters Jess and Melissa Labbadia. The sisters, who got their start in musical theater are extremely hard working and have a real idea of the direction they'd like their music to go in. They're single 'Insomnia" which the girls recently filmed the video for in LA was featured at #16 on the Billboard top 100 dance/pop charts as well.  Check out my chat with the lovely ladies of L2 who instantly won me over with their love of 80's music!

How did L2 first come about??

"Actually when we were in our early teens we started making music together and called ourselves the 'Labbadia Sisters'. And later we changed it to L2. And we've been doing it full time for  about 8 years now. We both started off in Musical Theater so it's always been a HUGE part of our lives."

Being a NY based band does being in such a vibrant city filled with so much history inspire your musical process??

"Absolutely! It's so inspiring. We've been lucky enough to record in Times Square and the views there are just amazing! We've also played at the Bitter End in The Village which is where Gaga has played. Playing a venue with that sort of history was just incredible.

So speaking of being in New York, you guys recently sang the National Anthem at the Mets game…what was that experience like?!

"That experience was incredible! We had heard that they were interested so we made a home video of us singing the national anthem A Capella and got it in that evening!"
