Shit You Missed This Weekend 12/03 -12/05

So this installment of Shit You Missed This Weekend may be small but it certainly packs a punch!  We've got some Divas, a rowdy plane passenger and the next movie project for a  Harry Potter star.  Be sure to check out all the celeb-worthy news you missed while doing other, more important things this weekend.

Josh Duhamel Gets Kicked off Plane: Teaching us that  even celebrities must follow those pesky airport rules.

So, I've been told by people that have worked with Mr. Duhamel that he's actually a pretty nice guy, so the recent news that he was ejected from a plane at New York's La Guardia airport because he wouldn't turn of his Blackberry is super surprising!  Apparently, Duhamel taunted the stewardess and the plane, already on the runway had to return in order to remove Duhamel from the flight.

Emma Watson goes from Witch to Wallflower

I've saved the best for last! This is pretty exciting news.  The Perks of Being a Wallflower, the popular novel Steven Chbosky is being turned into a feature film and is set to star Harry Potter actress Emma Watson.  The author himself recently confirmed the great news.

Chbosky, who is set to direct his story as well, told See and be Seen on Friday that the film will star Watson and the earliest filming will begin will be May 2011.  The film is also reported to be starring teen actor Logan Lerman.  Filming is rumored to take place in Pittsburgh.  Being a graduate of Upper St. Clair High School in Pittsburgh, it wouldn't be surprising if Chbosky, the Pittsburgh native would want to film his story here.  Chbosky is also respobsible for 2005 screenplay for Rent.

I've gotta say this is epic news for the city of Pittsburgh if this happens!  Pittsburgh has been getting an influx of big movies and big stars as of lately with Unstoppable and Love and Other Drugs and Watson and Perks of Being a Wallflower would certainly make a great addition!
